The service in practice

Extend learning beyond the timetable.

Online academic learning offers a choice of preparation, credit-bearing subjects and additional support alongside a student’s existing school program.

The four options below address different needs, from academic English and international-study readiness to subject recovery and one-to-one tutoring.

  • Academic English and international-study preparation
  • U.S. high school and AP course options
  • Credit recovery, grade improvement and individualized tutoring

Four learning options

The right course for the next learning need.

Online academic support includes preparation for international study, credit-bearing courses and additional help with existing school subjects.

New Student Bridge Program

Listening, speaking, reading and writing are developed alongside academic writing, critical reading, practical communication and standardized-test preparation. The program supports a transition into international education.

Off-Campus Credit Courses

Online U.S. high school and AP credit courses provide additional subject choices, with scheduling designed for learners in Asian time zones. Credit recognition and any diploma pathway depend on the participating school and completion requirements.

Credit Recovery & Grade Improvement

Credit Recovery provides a further opportunity to complete a course after an unsuccessful semester, through approximately 60 hours of study and successful assessment. Grade Improvement uses additional coursework to demonstrate subject understanding; changes to records follow school policies.

After-School Academic Tutoring

One-to-one online support covers K–12 subjects, homework and SAT/ACT preparation. An individual study plan focuses on the learner’s current subject needs and progress.
