About the program.
JHS Changqing School and St. Bernard’s Academy in the United States formally signed a partnership agreement on July 9, 2025. The program became St. Bernard’s Academy’s sole authorized campus in Shanghai and was established to create a new U.S. high school option in the city.
Crossing the Pacific, the partnership is intended to give students and educators a new platform for international growth and to open a new chapter in educational exchange and cooperation between the two schools.

International study with an arts pathway
The partnership between Shanghai Changqing School and St. Bernard’s Academy began in 2025. The 2026 brochure places the Shanghai project within the Licensing Program group.
The local school combines a U.S. high school partnership with arts-oriented international study, including pathways toward Japanese art institutions. These options belong to the Shanghai school’s specific provision rather than every CIC campus.
